Compassionate Conversations: Many Perspectives, Many Truths

October 1, 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm MDT

Jung Society of Utah presents
Diane Musho Hamilton and Gabriel Menegale Wilson
Authors of Compassionate Conversations: How to Speak and Listen from the Heart

One of the fundamental principles of having compassionate and successful conversations is our ability to see that every perspective is both true and is partial. While we might have this capacity, we often get mired down in familiar preferences, habits, and grooves in our thinking. Jung asserts that we have access to different parts of ourselves, different viewpoints, that we can easily access and explore. For example, we all have been victims, and at the same time, we have all injured others.

This evening will be an exploration of different perspectives and the common humanity that underlies these points of view.
