Expand your Horizons with the Integral Framework

This telecourse will present the Integral Framework, an invaluable aid to helping you understand and categorize your experience. The framework we use is crucial for our growth, since it is both the clearing in which experience arises (the broader the framework, the more fully we can experience then many aspects of life) and the lens through which our experience (even our experience of emptiness!) is interpreted.

Experience Big Mind

A unique and revolutionary approach for transmitting the authentic teachings that emerged from Buddha’s enlightenment experience. By participating in Big Mind, you will gain profound insights in the illuminating experience from which Buddhism and all the world’s great religions originate.

Bring your Shadow into the Light

The religious traditions had no way of knowing about modern psychological notions such as the shadow, aspects of ourselves which we are unable to incorporate in 1st person (“me”) and is thus incorporated in 3rd person (“it”). For example, if we are unable to acknowledge our own hostility, we may project in onto others, seeing them as being hostile to us. Our shadows cause painful symptoms and tend to sabotage spiritual growth, even in the most steadfast of practitioners. This telecourse introduces practices which help us to identify our shadow and bring it to light, releasing stores of energy we never knew we had!

Experience Healthy Development through States and Stages

Another crucial insight of Integral Theory is that all people experience states (such as the great natural states of waking, dreaming, and deep sleep) and all people navigate through stages of development. Confusion between these conceptions can be perilous, and an understanding of them can help us to walk our spiritual path in a conscious fashion, and enter more deeply into relationship with emptiness and form.

During this 8-week online telecourse, you will explore, engage and learn:

•  The Basics of Zazen Practice

•    The Big Mind Process – Developed by Zen Master Genpo Roshi

•    How to Cultivate Awakening and Compassion Through Your Zen Practice

•    How to Apply the Integral Approach to Your Zen practice

•    Everyday Zen for Everyday People

Masterful Facilitation: Integral Facilitation Skills

Are you a facilitator, coach, mediator, integral practitioner, consultant, educator, HR professional, community organizer, or leader who wants to bring the Integral vision into your work? Would you like to embody your full presence and potential as a facilitator?

Please join us for a highly engaging workshop led by Master facilitator, mediator, and teacher, Diane Musho Hamilton.

In this workshop you will:

  • Cultivate a deeper level of self-awareness and attention so you can “get out of your own way”
  • Sharpen your skills and add to your toolbox by putting core integral principles into practice
  • Learn to deal with conflict, shadow, power politics and everything else that makes being a facilitator so challenging

A brief pre-workshop reflection will help you identify what is currently most challenging for you as a facilitator. For example, what does being an “unbiased neutral” really mean? You may have recurring questions about how to engage different lines of development, metabolize individual or group tension, or address group shadow. Explore these and other integral facilitation topics through practice in this rich and supportive environment.

You will leave more confident, inspired, and energized with an action plan to enhance your mastery of the facilitators’ calling.

Date and Location: TBD. Please email Rochelle at rfairfield@dccnet.com to be notified when Registration opens.
